In 2015, God called the Jody & Bonnie Bauer, the passionate mother-daughter co-founders of True U Crew, to something greater than they imagined. Because of their obedience, True U Crew, a fully functioning non-specific nonprofit, was formed to meet the needs of many individuals. With dedication and help from others, True U Crew and the Bauers continue to proudly serve and better the Greater Philadelphia community & beyond today!
True U Crew works closely with various local individuals, nonprofits, and community organizations to locate and help those in need. This aid can come in many packages, including (but not limited to) homelessness support, domestic crisis support, sourcing & distributing needed items, and reacclimation support.
True U Crew also provides a space for people to serve others through outlets that are accessible to them (i.e. time, talents, finances, etc.).
*If True U Crew is unable to provide the right support, we network and connect with vetted local professionals to find the appropriate resources for those in need.

Our goal is to help others and to guide those who have servants’ hearts. True U Crew aims to offer a “hand-up” to encourage, empower, and inspire others to pay it forward.

Get to Know Jody & Bonnie!
With years of experience in community involvement and seeing a need, Jody & Bonnie invested their time and finances in order to improve the lives of those around them.
Jody Bauer is a devoted wife, mother of two, and grandmother
of four. She has a background in healthcare with the last 22 years spent managing Integrative Medicine practices. In December of 2020, Jody left her full-time position in the health care industry to wholeheartedly dedicate her time to True U Crew. Bonnie Bauer is married with two children. She has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and has modeled part-time for the past 7 years.
Hard-working, driven, and always willing to lend a hand, they share a passion for inspiring and improving the lives of those around them through kindness and faith. Currently, Jody and Bonnie also lead a Bible study at their True U Crew office.
